You really shouldn't boil food in a plastic bag. The high head can lead to partial breakdown of the plastic, which will then mix with the food and be bad for your health.
I have made this and it was wonderful. I just wanted to let everyone know that I just recently read that Ziploc doesn’t recommend cooking in there bags until they come out with a Microwave bag or such. After reading that I did a little more digging and it said in several website that I could even be toxic.

I have heard from some campers who say the bag will not melt but experts are now recommending against heating plastics. We will have more on that soon.
this is a great breakfast although the bag thing is a bit of a hangup. i haven't felt any ill effects :)
Sealing machines have bags that you are able to put in boiling water.
I use microwave safe container and put that in boiling water. Takes longer to cook, but safer.
